Comments

The six-facet flared bowl of this wine glass appears to have been pressed into a mold, and then attached to a baluster-shaped stem via the prominent disk between the two parts. The circular foot is yet another piece of glass fused to the bottom of the stem.  This and similar wine glasses held between 1 and 2 ounces, rather than the substantially larger capacities of modern wine glasses.

This wine glass is nearly identical to a pair of wine glasses (1971.1242.1-.2) except for its slightly smaller dimensions.
