Comments
The whale-oil lamp has iron burners fitted atop a blown oil reservoir that in turn attaches to a press-glass base. Threading covers the join. The lamp may have been made in either the South Boston Flint Glass Works (1811-1843) or the Phoenix Glass Works (1824-1870), both businesses of Thomas Cains (1779-1865).
