Inscription

"MH"[?] is engraved in ornate script on the front of the handle.  "STOCKMAN / & / PEPPER" in relief within an oval is stamped into the underside of the handle shaft.

Comments

The teaspoon bowl is a pointed oval; the handle is fiddleback shaped.

The initials are difficult to discern.

Silversmiths Stockman and Pepper were in partnership from 1828 to 1831.
