"M I" is engraved on one side near the rim.

Comments

This colorless glass sugar bowl has a lid with an edge that is folded to fit inside the rim of the bowl.  The lid has a conical cut finial and a three-leaf cut vine near the edge. The inside of the lid has a pontil mark. The body has cut-swag decoration with 8-pointed stars above each swag.  One side is engraved “M·I” above the star, initials of the first owner.  The underside of the bowl has a polished pontil.
