Comments
This modern candle snuffer has a long tapered silver shaft terminating at a ball atop a cone-shaped snuffer. A turned, ebony shaft, attached to the silver shaft by a silver pin, insults the user's hand from any heat build-up. A “STERLING" stamp identified the purity of the silver, and the no. 4 likely denotes a pattern.
