Inscription
"ISP" or "GSP" is engraved into the rim. An unidentified maker's touchmark is struck on the outside bottom.
Condition Notes
The rim is dented, cracked in places away from the bowl, and may have partially melted around the cut-out section.

Comments
The shaving bowl, also sometimes called a barber's basin, has a wide rim that curves inward at one end to allow the user to tuck the bowl under his chin. A hanging ring has been soldered opposite the indent. The bottom of the basin is stabilized by a small foot-ring.
