Comments
The wall sconce, made of sheet iron parts soldered together, has a long, vertical rectangular back with rolled edges and two moldings created by bending the iron, both features of which strengthen the scone. The semi-circular hood at the top, with a crimped edge, is folded forward to deflect smoke and heat. A circular hanging hole is cut into the back on the fold. A single candle cup is in the middle of a gallery formed by a low, half-round strap with rolled edges.
