Condition Notes

The glaze has flaked off two small spots on the inside bottom, one near the center and the other near the side wall.  The glaze exhibits craquelure.

Comments

The molded plate has a rounded booge and a foot ring.  The mottled glaze is characteristic of Rockingham ware, also called Bennington ware.  These wares were made by many potteries in the United States and England.
