Comments
The oil lamp has a tall, thin shaft rising above a flared base with a high rim forming a pan. The shaft has a knop or ring about 2/3 up and near the bottom of a cast C scroll handle to move the lamp. A horizontal arm holds a wick pan and hinged cover, the underside of which bears the relief name and place of the maker. The wick is gravity-fed with oil from a bulbous glass reservoir. The ribbed glass is blown and swirled. It has a glass knop at the top.
