“A.F. Bannister / & Co.” is stamped faintly into one side of the blade on each knife.
Condition Notes
The tip of knife accession no. 1959.4164.2 is more tapered than that of .1, probably due to sharpening.

Comments
The knife blades have rounded tips. Bone handle halves are attached to the handle tang with two steel pins. Inlaid crossed lines, which appear to be attached to the ovoid and slightly domed end cap and half-caps at the blade end, also secure the bone sections.
The pair of knives appear to be made en suite with a three-tined fork, accession no. 1959.4165.
