Heart-shaped cheese mold (one of a pair)
4-1/2 in x 4-3/4 in x 4-3/4 in
Tinned sheet iron
Historic Odessa Foundation, gift of Mrs. Alfred C. Harrison
The two legs that attach at the shoulders of the heart are bent inward.
The heart-shaped body and bottom are pierced in a regular pattern of round holes and slashes, which allow the cheese curds to drain. The mold stands on three tab feet. The rim is folded outward to add strength to the walls.
