The yarn winder was purchased from Mrs. Edward Wright of Wilmington, Delaware.
Comments
The yarn winder is made of two round maple rungs inserted into two long pieces of chestnut. A hole drilled into the center of one arm likely allowed the winder to pivot on some kind of stand to allow the user to wind yarn around the two rungs.
