Inscription

The company mark, designed as five separate hallmarks, is stamped on the decorated side of the knife blade.

Condition Notes

All of the bone handles show splits.  Knives 2022.11.1-.3 have collars added to the handles where the attach to the shaft to repair looseness or splitting.  All of the knives exhibit light tarnish.

Comments

The knives have a broad, shaped blade fully decorated with floral scrolls and a fish in the center of the composition.  The undecorated bone handles attach to the metal handle tang with a ringed collar.

This set of knives is en suite with a set of forks (accession no. 2022.9).
