Comments

The molded, shell-shaped dish stands on three short feet.  Shell details inside the dish include radiating veins that outline concave and convex lobes.  In addition to the green painted along the outer edge, two other green edges form layers of shell-like detail.  The decoration of this dish expresses many classical rococo details.
