The oval corn cob mold has a half ear of corn molded into the inside with a surrounding shelf and raised rim.  The mold stands on a foot.  Splotches of black (probably manganese) sponge decoration color the inside and outside of the upper body.  Red ceramic body is coated in a clear glaze.
