The long, narrow handled spoon has a rounded tip that curves downward slightly. It is ornately engraved with five-petal flowers and foliate scrolls. The foliage continues to the bowl where it expands into a broader compostion enclosing a flower. A "D" is engraved in a Gothic style on the handle face. The handle attaches to a tear-shaped bowl with three pierced cruciform or four-pointed stars.
