Comments

This caster, also called a pepper pot, has a baluster-shaped body with a narrow ring that separates the bulbous lower portion from the reel-like upper section.  The body stands on a molded foot or base.  The screw-on domed cap has pierced holes to allow the contents to be sprinkled on food.  A button finial surmounts the cap.

The outside bottom bears an unidentified maker's touchmark with a rose in the center.
