Comments

The rectangular box has a shallow-arched lid attached with thin copper staples.  The box is painted around all four sides with scenes of yellow houses with red roofs on a yellow ground with blue sky and green trees.  A small hasp, cut from tinned sheet-iron, is attached to the center front underside of the lid.
