Comments

This medium-sized bowl has a rim that curves outward.  It also has decorative ribbing molded into the outside walls.  This combination suggests that the bowl may have been intended to be seen, as on a washstand, where it served as a wash basin.  Alternatively, the decorative qualities may have been intended for use on the table for food. 

The bowl stands on a foot ring and is covered with mottled glaze inside and out.
