Comments
This delightful little molded basket with a scalloped body and integral handle is covered with detailed floral motifs and floral scrolls. The brown-colored glaze that covers the entire objects except minor areas of wear on the molded base gives the appearance of bronze.
Mary Warner wrote a label, attaching it to the bottom, that suggests the basked was owned by her mother, Mary Corbit Wilson, who married in 1847.
