Comments

The pair of small, shallow, flat-bottomed ashtrays is a modern design adapted from a late 18th century porringer design with a flowered handle, an object made in America and England.  Unlike a porringer, these small ashtrays have very low sidewalls, thus cannot be used to hold liquids or more solid foods.
