Condition Notes
The bottom 2 inches of the front feet, including the entire ball, are replacements. The rear feet are probably replaced similarly, although the black paint is too thick to tell. The lower side rungs may be replacements as well.

Comments
The five arched slats of this side chair gradually increase in size upward toward nicely formed ball-and-reel finials. The front stretcher is worn but still retains the shapes of the opposed balusters and middle ring. The front legs also have balusters cut into them near the top. The ball feet in front are replacements that simply don't exhibit the quality of turning elsewhere in this chair.
