Comments
The flared bowl of these wine glasses has six-facets. The bowl appears to have been pressed into a mold, and then attached to the baluster-shaped stem via the prominent disk between the two parts. The circular foot is also attached in the same manner. Glasses of this type and general size held between 1 and 2 ounces. Modern glasses hold significantly more.
This pair of wine glasses is nearly identical to another, single wine glass (1971.809),l except that the pair is slightly larger in size.
