Inscription

“AB” is engraved in script on the front end of the handle.  “W.WALKER” in relief within a rectangle is stamped into the underside of the handle shaft.

Condition Notes

Spoon 1969.5272.1 has many small dents in the bowl.

Comments

The narrow, delicate teaspoons have pointed oval bowls, long and thin shafts, and fiddleback handles that curve downward.  The initials of the first owner engraved on the handle are not identified.

Relatively little is known about silversmith William Walker.
