Inscription

"PAT JUNE 9[?] 1891[?]," "REED & BARTON," and "12" are stamped into the underside of the handle shaft near the bowl.  A script "L" is engraved on the face of the handle.

Comments

The molded tablespoon has an oval bowl and shaped handle with cast decoration of leafy scrolls along the edges.  The underside of the bowl has a shell near the handle.
