Condition Notes

The pie plate has craquelure in the glaze on the inside and outside of the side walls and on the outside bottom.

Comments

This pie plate has side walls with a slightly curved profile on the outside.  The inside of the rim curves outward.  In combination, these shapes suggest more shape to the sidewalls than the customary straight wall.  It is similar in this regard to accession no. 1959.4220.  The plate has no foot ring.
