Comments
This oil lamp has a shaft with a bold ring or knop about 2/3 from the bottom. The flared base has a rim around the edge forming a pan. A solid C scroll handle near the top of the shaft provides easy moving.. A horizontal arm opposite the handle holds the wick pan. The wick was originally gravity fed from a glass reservoir now missing entirely. Originally, this lamp likely looked similar to oil lamp, accession no. 1959.3662.
