Comments
he small turned side chair has a splint seat and boxed stretchers. The three arched slats with undercut arches are of graduated sizes. Each slat is secured with two pegs. All four posts taper slightly. The turnings at the tops of the front legs are a thick ring over a reel, which inverts the usual baluster shape in this place. The four legs end in ball-like feet with a scribe line around the widest diameter.
