Caesar Augustus Rodney (1772-1824), born in Dover to Thomas and Elizabeth Fisher Rodney, was a nephew of Caesar Rodney, the Signer. The younger Rodney served in various state offices and was the U.S. Attorney General from 1807 until 1811. He served in the War of 1812.
