Condition Notes
The bowl has a single small chip along the outer part of the rim. Craquelure can be seen in the glaze on the inside and outside surfaces.
Comments
This large bowl with a thick rim and high foot was likely intended for washing, thus properly called a basin. It might also have been used in food preparation or possibly food service. It has a boldly mottled glaze on the inside and outside. That on the outside stops as it reached the foot. The underside of the bottom has no brown.
