Comments

This large bowl with a thick rim and high foot was likely intended for washing, thus properly called a basin.  It might also have been used in food preparation or possibly food service.  It has a boldly mottled glaze on the inside and outside.  That on the outside stops as it reached the foot.  The underside of the bottom has no brown.
