Comments
This bulbous bottle, with a narrow neck incorporating a ring near the top, is finely decorated. Two reserves on opposite sides of the body show two Asian figures in a building interior. Floral sprays alternate with the scenes. Similar decoration occurs at the base of the neck. Gilt decoration forming filigree decorates the background. It is worn away from use at the neck. This water bottle is similar to the accompanying bowl, accession no. 1959.3693.
