Comments

The tripod stand has three rung-like legs that socket into a disk base into which a turned post or standard is socketed from above.  The upper portion of the post is threaded to allow the disk-turned tabletop and candle arm to be adjusted.  The shaped candle arm has rounded ends into which modern electric candles and tinned sheet-iron crimped bobeches are attached.  There is no evidence of previous use with real candles.

The candlestand has some vestiges of a black coating or stain around the base.  Elsewhere, it has remnants of a red wash.
