Comments

The molded plate has Chinese-styled decorations rendered in shades of blue. A rock-like formation occupies a central place in this garden composition. (Some Chinese export porcelain plates depict “blue rocks” in garden settings.) In addition to the two large Chinese flowers, an insect flies across the plate brim.
