Comments
The shallow flat-bottomed pan or bowl with canted sides was turned on a potter's wheel. It has a single, thin, incised line around the outside, about 2/3 from bottom, and is otherwise devoid of decoration. The thick rim has been reshaped at one place to form a square spout. The inside of the pan is coated with a black-colored iron glaze to render it water-tight.
The pan exhibits few features to help date or regionalize it.
