Comments
Although not catalogued until 2013, this three-part soap dish is en suite with a pitcher and water basin, accession no. 1971.789. The transfer-printed designs are identical in places and of the same color.
The ogee-shaped body of the soap dish mimics the larger baluster shape of the pitcher. The soap dish is a rectangle with canted corners that also relate to the pitcher. domed lid. The domed lid follows the shape of dish, as does the transfer-printed liner inside.
