A maker's mark incorporating "B" is unidentified; four London hallmarks include a date letter "l" and a lion passant.

The ends of the tines are worn from use, especially on the right side.

Comments
This fork, by an unidentified London silversmith, has four tines and a rounded handle tip that curves upward. The crest engraved onto the face of the handle appears to be a heraldic wreath at the bottom with a fence above that surrounds an ash tree at the top. The family using this device has not been identified.
