Comments
The small size of this blown decanter allows room for only two of the usual three applied rings at the neck, which provide the user a firm and steady grip when pouring. The applied rings are triple bands, similar to those on decanter accession no. 2024.23. The globular shape of the decanter and the pressed-glass wheel-shaped stopper suggest its time of manufacture. The underside is raised to prevent the pontil mark from contacting a table surface.
