Comments
Chambersticks refer to a particular form of candleholder, namely one with a broad drip pan and a handle of some sort that allowed the light source to be carried easily.
This rectangular chamber stick differs from most tinned wares in a few telling ways. First, all of the edges are poorly rolled. Over the years, they have become misshapen, unlike those with neatly folded edges or those wrapped around an iron wire core. Second, the cylindrical candle shaft is open at the base where tabs are slotted through the bottom.
